Enjoy the new site

We hope you enjoy the new website we put together. The last one along with most of it's contents exploded into cyber dust. We were able to find bits and pieces of it laying about. The rest we had to recreate. The nice thing about doing a complete rebuild is finding all the stuff we overlooked. I'm speaking mostly about the evidence. We found previously unshared EVPs, and consolidated frequently visited cases.

A Fairy Tale for St. Patrick's Day

A Fairy Tale for St. Patrick's Day

Since having a daughter, I have learned more about fairies than I ever dreamed was possible. Fairies change the seasons, you know. They also paint butterfly wings and ladybugs and those little stripes on bumblebees. They build teapots out of acorns. They are born from the magic of a baby's first laugh. How adorable!

At least, that's what Disney would have you believe.

Strange kids out there...

Strange kids out there...

Lately I have been listening to many random paranormal radio shows and pod casts and one thing is for sure, there are so many similar  stories it leads me to wonder are these stories real or just urban legends?   I know, we at the Midwest Paranormal Files keep a “anything is possible”  mindset with everything we hear.  Who am I to say what is impossible?  We ourselves have experienced unexplained paranormal phenomenon.

What can a guy say, the privilege to spend the night in a historical building of this magnitude leaves me speechless.  Goodnight

The bumpy Vergas Trails

The bumpy Vergas Trails

We headed out Sunday evening with about eight people to investigate the notorious Vergas Trails.  I am not originally from the area and didn't know they even existed until the last year or so.  I have heard there are just as many urban legends about the trails as there are possibly people who have traversed them.
